Creativity Workshops for Students on November 30

Gift of Wonder: Creative practices for delighting in God, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM in Kehr Union Building 410

with Dr. Christine Aroney-Sine. Can you imagine a God who dances with shouts of joy, laughs when you laugh, loves to play, enjoys life, and invites us to join the fun? Sadly we live in a culture of play deprivation, awe depletion, imagination suppression and nature deficit disorder. As a result we suffer from God deprivation too.  In this interactive workshop we will explore how practices like playdate adventures, awe and wonder walks, compassion games and joy spot sightings can enrich our spiritual life and draw us closer to God. Come prepared to create and share.
